Graffiti from Clevedon junction on M5 right up to Almondsbury. Some painted over on Wynhol viaduct thank you but loads on acoustic barriers from Avonmouth up to Almondsbury. Makes motorway look terrible reflecting poorly on your organisation

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England concerning graffiti.

We appreciate you taking the time to bring this matter to our attention.

We have forwarded your concerns to our maintenance team.

Any graffiti which is obscene or offensive will be prioritised and removed as quickly as possible.

Removal of graffiti can require specialist contractors or traffic management to keep our workforce safe. This means that it is not cost-effective to remove every instance of graffiti on its own. Graffiti which doesn’t meet the criteria above will therefore be logged and removed during the next round of periodic cleaning taking place in the area.

If you require any further information please contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 5000 or info@highwaysengland.co.uk

    Kind regards
