No diversion signs set up on A303 on 19h July 2021

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later
The A303 was closed from 8pm on monday night - 19th July at the junction with Longleat (A350). No problem but there were no diversion signs up anywhere. Chaos in local single lanes etc. I ended back at Longleat after doing a full circle and was told by a worker that he had personally put the signs out. Really ? I then tried again and there were no signs . Unbelievably. At one point half a dozen cars stopped behind me after negotiating a very narrow country lane and all were very unhappy and they all said the same thing - there will be a bad accident on the small lanes and where are the sisns ??????????? I made my way back home to surrey having spent 3 hours in the car. Who is responsibly for this shambles and will the same thing happen again tonight ?

Thank you for your patience whilst we reviewed your report. We're very sorry for the inconvenience caused to your journey whilst negotiating our diversion.
It would appear that you followed the A350 north but our diversion follows the symbolised strategic road network - A350 south to Shaftsbury, B3081 to Gillingham and then B3081 to A303.
Our diversion route is checked every night by our site supervisor and maintenance crew to ensure that diversion signage is out/not been knocked over and correct.
