Large potholes for approx 200 metres southbound

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later
There are large potholes appearing southbound on the A49 so large I almost lost control of my motorbike. They are in the wheel tracks on the road and it looks like the tarmac has been lifting on vehicle tyres in the heat as they queue for the roadworks further south. They are now dangerous and will likely cause another motorbike to lose control if not dealt with.
Congratulations, you have succeeded in turning a major arterial A road into a farm track. The potholes have been filled in so badly that the repairs are now raised humps in the road and as such pose as much of a threat to motorcycles (possibly even more so) than the potholes they were supposed to have fixed. This is no solution and still needs addressing.

New surface all down southbound side and looks like northbound is being done over the next few days.
State changed to: Fixed
