Dead dog on the side of the road on A1 Wansford

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

There is a dead German Shepherd on the side of A1, 200yds before the Wansford Junction - NBC. As above, the dog is not causing an obstruction to other road users and is on the side of the road, under the barrier.

    I appreciate how distressing it can be for our customers to see animal remains lying by the side of the road. We routinely remove such remains when they are found in the live carriageway and always endeavour to repatriate pets if their owners can be identified through microchip implant technology.
