Traffic lights not working on island m6 j11
Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 22:37, Tue 3 August 2021
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2912616.
Traffic lights been out for over 2 weeks now and it's VERY DANGEROUS Island to pull onto from M6 slip road as the angle of the car when you reach the junction. A crash happened today, how many more before they are fixed on this MAJOR junction?

Thank you for contacting Highways England about traffic lights. We have just installed give way signage on the A460 Eastbound approach and M6 NB offslip. Traffic Signal out of order boards have been installed since the incident occurred. The equipment has been ordered, however it is likely to be at least 12 weeks until the traffic signals are fixed due to longer than usual lead times on equipment.
Kind regards Highways England

I car drove off the M6 at this junction, driver didn’t look and I had to emergency stop. They would have killed my daughter if I hadn’t reacted so quickly. Why are these lights not working.

Traffic queues on M6. Deadly in my opinion. This is a fatal accident waiting to happen.

It's amazing that there have been no new posts about this problem since 20th August and the lights are still not working at Junction 11 island M6. Maybe a major accident needs to occur before they will be fixed! They have been like this since July, absolutely nuts.
