Highways have recently cut back overgrowth on the cycle/foot path and left behind debris
Reported via mobile in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) category anonymously at 07:58, Thursday 5 August 2021
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later
The vegetation that has been cut back has not been cleared and is strewn across the path. There is also low growing thorny vegetation still on the path. The end result is a mess, and a significant puncture hazard to cyclists and trip hazard to pedestrians. A number of safety bollards between the path and main road are also broken.
Thank you for contacting Highways England.
Our local inspector has been to site and has determined that the vegetation doesn't seem to be an issue at the moment.
However the damaged and missing reflector posts have been noted during our asset condition survey through this section and will be replaced.
I hope this helps to answer your report.
Kind Regards Highways England
