Sent to National Highways less than a minute later
Afety fence on a bridge has been damaged - the fence has been pulled off and is sticking out into the pavement - no barrier but undergrowth to stop access through the fence onto the a38 below and caller is worried it is sticking out enough to potentially cause an accident

One of our safety inspectors has visited the location and advised this has had a temporary repair made, and there is nothing immediate that’s causing any issues.
We will continue to review this and will arrange any required work if the situation changes.
