Vegetation obstructing view of highway ahead when approaching Coventry from Warwick on A46

Reported via mobile in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) category anonymously at 09:11, Tuesday 24 August 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

On approaching the A45 junction travelling on the A46 the A46 gently curves to the right. Vegetation has grown on the central reservation to such a height that the view ahead is obstructed particularly when in right hand lane. When busy the inside Lane of the A46 continuing into Coventry can get blocked by traffic exiting at the A45 exit which backs up onto the A46. This then only leaves the right hand Lane clear to continue on the A46. Vehicle often make sudden manoeuvres around backed up vehicles that are blocking the inside Lane at this point pulling out into the right lane at low speed with vehicles already approaching at speed on the right lane with forward vision of the area restricted by the vegetation. This vegetation was never designed to be there and requires removal ASAP to ensure best visibility is maintained on the approach to this junction. Thanks
