Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

A249, newnham court roundabout, m20 junctiion 7, near boxley / detling village. metal plate section of bridge expansion joint bent up 3 - 4 inches for approximately 12 - 15 inch length. joint is at 10 o'clock position on roundabout, just before east bound m20 off ramp. after calling you yesterday & being told it was a matter for the kcc, they have investigated & advised it is a construction issue (not road surface), so falls under your jurisdiction. their reference number is 593966

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England about the damaged expansion joint to the bridge at junction 7 on the M20. Please be advised that we're aware of this issue and a expansion joint replacement scheme is currently underway. These works are being carried out overnight from Monday 22 August to Monday 6 September, excluding the Bank Holiday weekend.
