  • Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for contacting us via Fix My Street regarding the street lights on the A47.

I appreciate you taking the time to report this.

We have a job with our lighting contractor to repair the photocell unit which failed. To keep the lights working at night we have had to bypass the timer which leads to the day burning.

Whilst this is far from ideal they are serving their purpose of keeping the road illuminated at night.

We had hoped to have this completed by now but it has been delayed due to higher priority works. We hope to have this completed over the coming weeks.

Thank you again for contacting us, I hope you find my response helpful.

    Kind regards National Highways
