Report raised on behalf of community
A large amount of weeds are growing on this island. They have not been treated for a number of years, now meaning they are starting to impact vision of some road users as well as being a unsightly problem. If possible please can the weeds be removed or sprayed to be killed off.
Thank you for contacting National Highways.
We carry out regular inspections of our roads and cut back trees and vegetation where we find that it’s limiting visibility of road signs, traffic signals, at junctions or the view ahead. I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team. They will inspect the area and if necessary, arrange for vegetation to be cut.
Kind regards National Highways
