New national speed limit sign obscured
Reported via mobile in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) category anonymously at 18:14, Tuesday 12 October 2021
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later
The new national speed limit end of variable speed limit sign is completely obscured by trees.
Sign was installed without cutting back vegetation
Thank you for contacting National Highways.
We are aware that this sign which reads ‘Variable Speed Limit Ends’ is partially covered by the trees on the side of the carriageway and we are planning vegetation clearance in this area to ensure that the sign is visible to all drivers exiting our construction zone.
We will soon be implementing a closure in this section to carry out this work and resolve the issue.
Kind regards National Highways
